Susan joined PLAN in February of 2020.  She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and is passionate about helping families plan for their loved ones with special needs.  Susan obtained her Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®) designation in April of 1998 and earned her Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®) designation in October of 2019.

Susan began her career at Chevy Chase Financial Services, a subsidiary of Chevy Chase Bank (now Capital One Bank) in the mid-1990's as a financial services associate and supervisor in the discount brokerage area where she obtained various securities licenses and her CFP® designation.  Upon getting married and moving to Illinois, she began to sharpen her skills as a financial advisor in the areas of investment, retirement, cash flow, and estate planning at Balasa, Dinverno, and Foltz LLC.  When she moved back to the area, Susan’s roles and responsibilities grew as she worked at Raymond James Financial Services and Voso Financial Advisors as a financial planner.  Most recently, Susan served as a lead financial advisor at Carmichael Hill & Associates where she gained valuable expertise completing financial plans for special needs families.
